This Melbournian Mammals (and their mates) illustration features many of our much-loved Australian animals enjoying Brunswick, a grungy vibrant suburb in Melbourne's inner north. A kangaroo and bilby have brunch at A Minor Place, an echidna serenades the suburb from above Miss R.E. Yon's ghost sign, an emu prepares for a midday swim at the Brunswick Baths, and a Franco Wombazzo announces “MEGALO! MEGALO! MEGALO!” above the Franco Cozzo shopfront. Up above, a magpie soars over the dancing BEEF (Brunswick East Entertainment Festival) girls, while down below, Sparkly Bear rides on. Oh, and did we mention the A1 Bakery cheese pie nomming possums?
