This Melbournian Mammals (and their mates) illustration features many of our much-loved Australian animals enjoying Carlton, a diverse lush suburb in Melbourne's inner city. Kangaroos, possums and echidnas enjoy all that the Carlton Gardens has to offer, emus dance above the San Remo Ballroom, and a wombat sings from La Mama. A giant tyrannosaurus rex looms over the Melbourne Museum, while a Tasmanian Devil browses the books at Readings and a numbat enjoys a cheeky Carlton Draft. With theatre, pasta, and plenty of activities, this is Carlton at its cutest.
